The illustration was created for Zitty- Familie in Berlin (Family in Berlin; May 2019). Zitty is a lifestyle magazine created for Berliners. The regular issues appear monthly, but there are also different themes explored in separate editions- such as Familie, that are published once a year.
My brief was to create an illustration representing parents too busy with their lifes (both family as professional) to be intimate with each other. The editor preferred intensive colors and characters with "Berlin-look", read: tatooes, no suits, beard etc.
I wanted to create a very dynamic, chaotic scene from young parents' life.
